Chat attack

preferential policy

(yōudài zhènɡcè)

A: I'm so angry. I was watching TV the other day and saw a report that said that an old retired soldier tried to use his military disability permit to buy a ticket for the bus and not only was he refused, the driver yelled at him!

(zhēnshì qìsǐ wǒle. wǒ nàtiān kàndiànshì shuō yǒuɡè tuìwǔlǎobīnɡ yònɡ jūncánzhènɡ mǎi piàochénɡchē, bùjǐn bèijùjué, háibèi sījī rǔmà.)

B: How did something like this happen?

(zěnme háiyǒu zhèzhǒnɡ shìér?)

A: There has always been a preferential policy for retired military using public transport.

(běnlái chénɡzuò ɡōnɡjiāo jiùshì yǒu zhēnduì tuìyìjūnrénde yōudài zhènɡcè.)

B: Yeah. If it weren't for these heroes struggling forward under heavy burdens, how would we have the peace we have today?

(shìa. méiyǒu zhèxiē yīnɡxiónɡde fùzhònɡ qiánxínɡ, nǎláide dàjiāde ānjūlèyè?)

A: This matter should be seriously dealt with.
