China's National Health Commission (NHC) recognizes the importance of an online post titled "An oncologist of Peking University Third Hospital reveals the shady treatment of cancer," and will immediately organize an investigation and verification on the problems highlighted in it, the NHC announced on its public WeChat account on Monday.

A netizen claiming to be an oncologist at Peking University Third Hospital posted on Sunday that malpractices by some oncologists cause the loss of many patients' lives and money because some doctors act recklessly due to the lack of supervision.

In the article, the netizen gave detailed examples about the unreasonable use of drugs by oncologists for their own personal interests. This is a practice that obviously violates the basic principles recognized by the cancer community and also leads to an increase in the death rate of cancer patients. He also analyzes the reasons behind it and proposes solutions for national supervision.

Although the truth has yet to be investigated and the person involved deleted the post, the incident caused a huge stir and triggered a discussion on the deficiencies of healthcare.

Many netizens support and appreciate this oncologist for telling the truth, saying that putting the patients' life and interest as a priority is what a good doctor should do.

Some netizens shared different opinions and are paying close attention to the investigation by the NHC.

"My family members who have been treated for cancer haven't come across a doctor who harmed them. We should wait for the NHC's investigation to learn the truth," a netizen commented on China's Twitter-like Sina Weibo.
