A group of 39 artists have turned a Beijing museum into a "supermarket" in the new exhibition Le supermarché des images, or The Supermarket of Images

Curated by Peter Szendy, the show at Beijing's Red Brick Art Museum displays artworks including photographs, paintings, sculptures, videos and installations from well-known artists like Maurizio Cattelan, Yves Klein and Andreas Gursky.

According to the museum, the show aims to take a keen look at profit and loss within the image economy and explore today's hottest social topics like the abuses of images, the protection of personal information and cryptocurrencies.

The exhibition is set to run until August 1.
