The People's Bank of China (PBC), the central bank, on Monday launched a set of commemorative coins to greet the centennial of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Consisting of three rounded gold coins weighing eight grams each, five silver coins including four rectangles coins and one rounded coin, weighing 150 grams and 30 grams, respectively, and one copper alloy coin, the nine coins are all legal tenders, said the central bank during a press conference on Monday. 

The copper alloy commemorative coin with a value of 10 yuan, can be redeemed in commercial banks in the country.
