An internet celebrity chain restaurant named "Panggelia," which features a crab casserole dish, was recently exposed food safety issues. According to Beijing News, its two outlets in Beijing sold dead crabs as live ones, and provided other stale food for sale. In recent months, several other internet celebrity restaurants have also been exposed food security issues. With the improvement of living standards, Chinese people's requirements for restaurants are not restricted to taste. The internet celebrity outlets by virtue of various stunts and network marketing are attracting a large number of customers to dine. Currently, internet celebrity café and restaurants have become hubs for many young people to take photos. But most of these internet celebrity outlets are transient. Only a few of them can maintain popularity for a long time. This may be mainly because many of them are directing their efforts and attention in marketing and making stunts. Few care to improve the quality of their dishes. This is putting the cart before the horse. Customers should stay vigilant when they pursue internet celebrity restaurants. Food safety should be the first priority.
