After touring to Shanghai and Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, artworks from renowned artist Chen Peiqiu debuted at Holly's Space in Beijing's 798 Art Zone on Sunday. Different from her past exhibitions, the Niannian Huixiang exhibition follows the exchanges between the artist and her friend Liu Qi.

The stories behind some of the artworks are also on display so visitors can come to understand the larger picture behind their creation.

"She is an artist I admire very much, and also an important artist in the history of art," said Song Lijun, deputy general manager of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Department at Holly's International.

The exhibition runs until Thursday.
