Shenzhou-12 taikonauts complete quarantine and recovery

The three crew of Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft, Chinese taikonauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo, completed their quarantine and recovery phase after they returned to the Earth from their 3-month mission in space on September 17. 

According to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) on Saturday, the three taikonauts have completed their recovery phase including readapting body gravity and their physiological indexes have all recovered. The three taikonauts have expressed appreciation to the country and its people that supported the mission via the state broadcaster China Central Television.

Following their return to the Earth, the Shenzhou-12 crew will deliver a mission report to the people across the country through conference, and will start recovery training sessions as soon as possible, according to the CMSA. 

Song Zhongping, an aerospace expert and TV commentator, told the Global Times that after the recovery program the taikonauts will prepare for their next mission, and normally each crew can execute mission on the China's Tianhe space station for a period of at least six months.
