The news that Lisa, a member of South Korean girl band Blackpink, has tested positive with coronavirus became hot news on China's Twitter-like Sina Weibo as soon as it was published, making Chinese netizens concerned about the epidemic prevention measures overseas.

According to South Korean media and Blackpink's company YG Entertainment, three other members including Jennie have undergone nucleic acid tests and suspended all activities, waiting at home for the results.

The related hashtag has been viewed more than 140 million times. Chinese netizens expressed hope that the star can recover soon and asked for more news about Lisa's health status.

"South Korea and other countries should focus more on preventing the COVID-19 epidemic. They should rethink why so many stars have been infected with the coronavirus," one Sina Weibo user commented.

Lisa is followed by more than 8.8 million Sina Weibo users and has a huge number of Chinese fans, especially after she attended to a Chinese competitive variety show Youth With You as a dancing tutor.
