A police officer in Heyuan, South China's Guangdong Province, found a suspect who he had been looking for at a milk tea shop when the suspect was taking the officer's order, according to local media.

The officer, surnamed Wang, found out that the appearance and features of the cashier of the milk tea shop looked "quite similar to" the suspect in a recent burglary case, so he cooperated with the colleague who went along with him and secretly took a photo of the cashier.

They later went back to the police station for further analysis of the photo, and finally confirmed that the cashier was the suspect and arrested him.

"We see pictures of the suspects every day. Their faces have been imprinted in our minds, especially since this is my case."

The 21-year-old suspect confessed to his crime of burglary at a logistics park, an e-commerce center as well as a restaurant since November 2021.
