A video clip showing Swedish reporter Hans Fahlén bursting into tears after seeing Swedish skier Walter Waldemar Wallberg winning gold medal at the men's mogul of freestyle skiing has gone viral on Chinese social media. And when Fahlén talked to the media about his excitement in an TV interviewater, he gave thumbs up to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Fahlén had been a member of the Swedish team of mogul of freestyle skiing, but never had made it to the Olympics. But as a journalist, he had been given a chance to attend the Olympics for the first time.

"It's very great, very good arrangement and good venues. I love Genting Snow Park," he said to the media. Genting Snow Park, in adjacent Zhangjiakou, is the only one out of nine such facilities in the city selected as an Olympic venue.

His reaction to the competition and to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics has been cheered by many Chinese netizens.

"I was touched by his tears. It shows his deep love to his country and to the sports event, and it also reflects the charm of competitive sports. Switching to another capacity to attend the Olympics is also a good choice," a Sina Weibo user commented.

Fahlén had been so excited to see Swedish skier Wallberg winning at the event that was held on Saturday and he couldn't help but shed tears as he waved the Swedish national flag. The scene was caught on camera and has gone viral on social media platforms such as Sina Weibo and Douyin in China.

Of course, Fahlén is surely not the only foreigner to give compliments to the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Besides media staff, many athletes have also recorded videos of the facilities, food and service from volunteers to show the real and stunning 2022 Winter Olympics.

The US snowboarder Tessa Maud uploaded a vlog on Saturday in which she shared a heartfelt moment during the Beijing 2022 opening ceremony, when she yelled out "hello" in Chinese to the volunteers and one of them yelled back in English, "Welcome to China!"

She continued to share videos about Chinese food she had tasted in the Olympic village, including dumplings and kung-pao chicken, and praised them as very delicious.

Another US athlete Anna Hoffman uploaded a video to display the environment of National Ski Jumping Center, where is next to the Great Wall, and she said excitedly in the video that it's very cool.
