The staff member played as the Winter Olympic mascot Bing Dwen Dwen bowed to volunteers in Zhangjiakou, North China's Hebei Province, on Saturday as the Games came to an end. Some volunteers cried as they bid farewell.

Bing Dwen Dwen has passed on love and warmth that triggered an emotional resonance in everyone, transcending national boundaries. One video posted online showed volunteers asking whether Bing Dwen Dwen will show up in Paralympic Games and how it feels about getting retired. Bing Dwen Dwen answered that it was not happy that it has to leave and thanked all the volunteers for their help. Netizens said that they cried as Bing Dwen Dwen turned its back.

Although the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games ended on Sunday, the merchandise of the phenomenal panda mascot still remains in high demand in China. Shuey Rhon Rhon, the mascot for the Paralympic Games, will take over soon.
