Sometimes, being too high profile can get you into unexpected trouble. Recently, a woman from Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province, took a video to celebrate the purchase of a new car and posted it online. Unexpectedly, netizens noticed that in the video there were some poppies planted nearby.

What was supposed to be a video to celebrate about buying a new car became evidence. The police immediately found the woman. After inspection, the officers learned that the old man from the woman's family believed poppies were medicinal, so he planted a few in the yard. The police had no choice but uprooting the plant, give the owner a warning and informing the whole family about poppy flower regulations. According to Chinese criminal law, the planting of more than 500 strains of poppy flowers constitutes the crime of illegal drug-plant growing. Fortunately, the family planted only a small amount.
