Recently, two primary school students from Xianfeng, Central China's Hubei Province, accidentally found poppies while playing outside, and then called the police with a watch phone. When police arrived at the scene, they found 12 poppies and uprooted them. Afterwards, the police went to the school to present the two students with certificates, exam papers and pens, and to publicly praise them.

However, the gift from the policeman did not seem to make the children happy. "I really want to remind the policemen that not everyone likes examination papers! Such a gift brings back bad memories rather than happy ones," one netizen joked after the school posted the video online.

"We choose to send exam papers in the hope that they will do well in the final exams," the police explained. However, netizens jokingly said that this kind of reward is not worth advocating, as it could inducechildren not to dare call the police in the future in this kind of situation"Next time, some toys or snacks might be a better choice," another netizen said.
