On Saturday, a video of a nurse looking at her mobile phone while rescuing a patient received widespread attention on Chinese social media platforms. On Sunday, the family of the patient in the video reported that the incident occurred when his child was being treated at the First People's Hospital of Xiangshan county in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang Province, and they posted the video online, mainly because they are dissatisfied with the hospital's treatment process.

"Up to now, I still don't know the cause of my daughter's death. We have hired a third party to conduct an autopsy tomorrow," the father said. In response, the staff of the hospital responded that the hospital is taking the case very seriously and will soon issue a notice to explain matters. 

"Maybe she's checking her WeChat messages," netizens suggested. "If she was just playing around with her phone, the hospital needs to take the matter very seriously, but if she was using it for work, the family will need to apologize publicly."
