Recently, the wild elephants rendered meritorious service to police find five suspected stowaways accidentally in Xishuangbanna, Southwest China's Yunnan Province. The police received a report of wild Asian elephants roaming near a road on the early morning of August 2, so they immediately started to carry out early warning monitoring through a drone.

Surprisingly, the police found five suspected stowaways from monitoring, as the elephants kept moving in the direction of the suspects. Thanks to the Asian elephants, the police finally arrested the five people, and the case is still under further investigation.

Some netizens praised the elephants should be awarded with medals while others pointed out that these stowaways may spread coronavirus between countries and harm the public health.
