China Coast Guard (CCG) on Saturday drove away Philippine vessels intruding into waters near Ren'ai Jiao of China's Nansha Islands.

Two supply ships and two coast guard vessels of the Philippines intruded into waters near Ren'ai Jiao of China's Nansha Islands on August 5, said CCG spokesperson Gan Yu.

CCG carried out necessary management and control in accordance with law and blocked the Philippine ships carrying illegal building materials. China urges the Philippine side to stop its encroachment in the sea area immediately. China has indisputable sovereignty over Nansha Islands, including Ren'ai Jiao, and its surrounding waters. CCG will continue to perform law enforcement in waters under Chinese jurisdiction, said Gan.

Gan's remarks came as the Armed Forces of the Philippines said that a Chinese coast guard vessel on Saturday blocked and water-cannoned the chartered Philippine boat on a routine troop rotation and resupply mission.
