Zou had claimed that he has channels to buy Chou's concert "tickets" from January this year, and lied and provided "pre-sale" services through WeChat and other channels, with more than 600 "pre-sale" tickets had been sold to fans, according to the release.

As the final deadline for providing tickets approached, Zou didn't have enough tickets, he then contacted the other man, surnamed Qing, to produce fake tickets in an attempt to be used to muddle through to fool the ticket buyers, with a total of 250 tickets produced in total.

The batch of fake tickets did not flow into the market because the public security organs apprehended the offenders, and the current recovery of stolen money accumulated to more than 700,000 yuan ($96,645), suspects Zou and Qing have been criminally detained in accordance with the law, and the case is being further investigated.
