Following mutual agreement, Chinese side and the European Parliament had decided to simultaneously and fully lift restrictions on exchanges between the two sides, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Tuesday. 

In recent years, exchanges between the legislative bodies of China and Europe had experienced some setbacks due to well-known reasons. Under the current circumstances, both sides believed that it was very important to strengthen dialogue and cooperation. We believe and expect that, with the comprehensive resumption of exchanges between the legislative bodies of China and Europe, mutual communication and understanding would deepen, injecting new momentum into the sustained, healthy and stable development of China-Europe relations, said Lin.
