In response to media inquiries regarding Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's vow to avenge the victims of the Kashmir attack, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated on Thursday that China had already expressed its position on the current India-Pakistan situation the previous day. China is concerned about the current developments. India and Pakistan are immovable neighbors, and both are China's neighbors.
Lin noted that China opposes all forms of terrorism and calls on both India and Pakistan to prioritize peace and stability, comply with the United Nations Charter and other international laws, remain calm and restrained, and avoid actions that would further complicate the situation.
We are willing to work with the international community to play a constructive role in alleviating the current tensions, said Lin.
