The Chinese mainland has decided to impose punitive measures on Taiwan-based company Sicuens International Co., Ltd., banning it from conducting any transactions or cooperation with mainland organizations, enterprises, or individuals, Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said on Thursday. Investigations revealed that Shen Tu-cheng, the father of die-hard "Taiwan independence" separatist Shen Pao-yang, serves as the head of the company.
This company has engaged in trade and business cooperation with certain enterprises on the mainland, profiting economically from these ties. The mainland firmly opposes allowing enterprises linked to stubborn "Taiwan independence" separatists to profit from the mainland, Zhu said, noting that other necessary measures will be also adopted.
In October 2024, the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office on announced the imposition of punishment measures on Shen Pao-yang and Robert Hsing-cheng Tsao, two key secessionist figures from the island of Taiwan; along with Kuma Academy, an organization that propagates secessionist ideas and serves as a base for "Taiwan independence" separatist activities.
Shen Pao-yang, the head of the academy, has been actively and systematically organizing activities promoting "Taiwan independence." He has also deliberately promoted "Taiwan independence" and "anti-China" ideologies, particularly targeting the young people in Taiwan.
