In response to an inquiry regarding reports that the mainland's J-10C fighter jets and PL-15 missile demonstrated overwhelming advantages during an India-Pakistan air conflict, which has sparked heated discussion in Taiwan with some commentary noting that it shatters the DPP authorities' illusion of "resisting reunification by force," Zhu Fenglian, a spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, said on Wednesday that the DPP authorities' persistent adherence to separatist "Taiwan independence" stance and their attempt to "seek independence by relying on foreign support" and "resist reunification by force" are acts of self-delusion and will ultimately lead to a dead end.

We have firm confidence, strong resolve, and powerful capabilities to crush any separatist attempts for "Taiwan independence," safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and achieve national reunification, said Zhu.
