When responding to a Global Times question regarding Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan expressing concerns over US' imposition of partial travel restrictions on citizens of 7 countries, including Turkmenistan, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Thursday that China has always believed that people-to-people exchanges form the foundation of international communication and cooperation, serving the common interests and aspirations of all parties. 

As comprehensive strategic partners, China stands ready to work with Turkmenistan to promote greater facilitation of cross-border travel between nations, Lin stated at a regular press briefing on Thursday.
