In response to a media inquiry regarding the evacuation of Chinese citizens, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Thursday that, as of now, with the coordination and organization of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and Chinese embassies and consulates in Iran, Israel, and neighboring countries, more than 1,600 Chinese citizens have been safely evacuated from Iran, and several hundred from Israel. 

The Chinese Foreign Ministry and relevant diplomatic missions will continue to make every effort to assist in the safe relocation and evacuation of Chinese citizens, said Guo.
