The 12th World Games will be held in Chengdu from August 7 to 17. As the core support area for scientific and technological innovation at this World Games, the Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone, behind 67 percent of the city's filings for deep synthesis algorithm products and 62 "Top 100 AI Products," is demonstrating the charm of western China's industrial area to 110 countries and regions around the world.

From lab to world stage

As the first commercial humanoid robot in Sichuan, "SKYWALKER I" will be deeply integrated into the services at the World Games Village and the World Games Plaza, relying on self-developed motion control algorithms and other technologies to achieve movement and interaction. This "Made in Chengdu" robot developed by Sichuan Embodied Intelligent Robot Technology Co, Ltd, has achieved more than 90 percent localization of parts. Its 43 degrees of freedom joints and model-based and learning-based dual-architecture drive system represent the Chengdu robot industry's "zero breakthrough."

Outside the Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone Sports Center, a group of intelligent outdoor cleaning robots and safety and fire control robots operate around the clock, responsible for site cleaning services, security inspections, construction work standardization control, electrical fire safety prevention and more. Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone companies such as Embodied Technology, Yuefan Innovation, and Koala Uran are pushing their "experimental results" to the international stage to provide reliable support for "smart events."

AI reshaping expression

The digital rooftop screen at the Chengdu Tianfu International Convention Center will be jointly branded with "Neo Artifacts" to showcase the various events at the Chengdu World Games. Longyuan Network, a chain leader in the Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone, has developed cultural and creative interactions based on its Chinese-style mobile game "Neo Artifacts" and derived a hand-made figure incorporating traditional cultural elements such as the Jinsha Sun Bird. The

latter has become a "city souvenir" sought after by overseas athletes.

"AI is reshaping cultural expression." Local company Xingzhe AI created the theme song "Heart to the Future" for the World Games with its self-developed multi-modal large model, topping the Asian music charts. The company explored new possibilities for Sichuan Opera, electronic rhythm and algorithms through products such as AI music and AI intelligent bodies, expressing the 1,000-year-old "Tianfu [the old name of Chengdu] culture" in a new way.

Experiences shared by all

"This device makes training as addictive as playing games!" said one participating athlete, expressing surprise after experiencing the "YoDome Magic Cube." This somatosensory sports terminal independently developed by Guangyao Hengtuo Technology integrates motion recognition, competitive training, entertainment and other functions. It is not only used at professional training venues, but will also be installed in public spaces such as Dayuan Central Park and community squares in the future.

Deeper technological changes are quietly taking place in citizens' lives. The "boundless AR navigation" system created by Koala Uran has been connected to the public transportation network, with a positioning accuracy of up to 0.5 meters; the community fitness plaza automatically identifies exercise rhythm and adjusts audio rhythm through an AI accompaniment system; the 10 Billion Artificial Intelligence Mother Fund continues to incubate "AI+life" scenario applications, allowing technology to truly "enter the homes of ordinary people."

As the main host of the National New-Generation Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Development Pilot Zone, the Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone is striving to "build a world-class high-tech industrial park" and is accelerating the construction of a complete AI ecosystem covering the basic, technical and application levels. While providing technological support for multiple global competitions, it continues to push the artificial intelligence industry to new heights.
