The Zhoukou Municipal Health Commission released a statement on Tuesday, saying that at 20:38 on August 1, a fall occurred at Zhoukou Sixth People's Hospital. After the incident, the hospital promptly organized emergency treatment, but the individual involved ultimately succumbed to severe injuries and was pronounced dead at 1:40 on August 2.

After verification, the deceased was identified as Dr. Shao, a 57-year-old female physician at the hospital. The Zhoukou Municipal Health Commission and relevant authorities immediately formed an investigation team. The case is currently under investigation in accordance with laws and regulations, and follow-up measures are being carried out.
