A video showing several youths riding electric bikes through a hospital hallway in Wugang, Central China's Henan Province, has sparked public concern and drawn wide criticism. The footage captures multiple individuals riding two e-bikes into the hospital corridor near the maternity ward. On Tuesday, the Wugang Health Commission stated that they are aware of the situation and will require the hospital to improve its security measures, according to a report by Red Star News.

The behavior has drawn widespread criticism online, with netizens condemning the disruption to hospital operations and questioning the facility's security protocols. The health commission explained that a 16-year-old patient had been hospitalized, and their friends visited at night. "The youngsters wanted to show off and filmed the video while riding the e-bikes," the commission stated. Authorities have pledged to address the issue by requiring the hospital to improve security measures, including upgrading access controls and increasing patrols to close management loopholes.
