An accident occurred on Friday at a beer festival in Mianzhu, Southwest China's Sichuan Province, when severe weather caused a truss to collapse, leaving two dead and three seriously injured, according to a notice released Saturday on the official WeChat account of the local emergency management bureau.

After the incident, local authorities immediately launched emergency rescue, provided medical treatment, and carried out follow-up response measures. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, the notice said.
