A van carrying loading and unloading personnel fell into the sea while leaving Taoyuan Fishing Port in Rongcheng city, East China's Shandong Province, around 4pm on Saturday, according to a release by Rongcheng local government.  

There were 11 people on board: 3 were rescued and are in stable condition, 6 were confirmed dead, and the remaining 2 are still being searched for. The cause of the accident and other follow-up work are still under investigation, according to the press release.
