On the evening of Monday, leaders from multiple countries arrived in Beijing by high-speed train to attend the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, China Central Television (CCTV) reported.
These leaders include Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu, Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
Earlier, these foreign leaders attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2025 held in North China's Tianjin at the invitation, according to CCTV news.
