Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrives in Beijing for China's V-Day commemorations: report

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrived in Beijing on Tuesday morning to attend the commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, according to CCTV News.
President Vucic has visited China many times and said that China is Serbia's most precious friend, consistently offering selfless support and assistance to help Serbia develop its economy and improve the well-being of its people, CCTV News reported.
Serbia is an important partner of China in Europe and one of the first European countries to respond to, participate in, and promote the Belt and Road Initiative. In 2024, the heads of state of China and Serbia jointly signed a joint statement on the building of a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era, opening a new chapter in the history of China-Serbia relations, according to CCTV News.
