"President Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part the military parade marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II at Tiananmen Square, attended by leaders from over 20 countries. The event reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s foreign policy commitment to fostering friendship and constructive dialogue for peace, sustainable development and prosperity,” wrote President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s Press-service on the X platform on Wednesday.

Mirziyoyev is in China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit 2025, as well as commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the Xinhua News Agency reported.
