Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic recently stated in an interview with China Central Television (CCTV), “I love China; as you can see, I’m not hiding it,” according to CCTV on Thursday.

“The country that I dedicated and devoted my life to is Serbia. But if you ask me whether I like China, I can tell you I love China,” Vucic said in the CCTV interview.

When asked what he loves most about China, Vucic said it is the people he loves. He likes the political approach and he loves the people, he said in the interview. 

“You cannot find a single man (in Serbia) that does not like or love Chinese people,” he said in the interview. 

“Come to Serbia, that’s your second home,” he said in the interview. He said that he will do his best to bring more Serbs to China, to see popularity of a small country here, and to see how diligent, how good people are Chinese people. He said in the interview that he believes that these people-to-people ties are of the utmost importance.

He said he admires Chinese people’s persistence and diligence. And hopefully we will be able to create even stronger and better ties in the future, said Vucic in the interview.
