In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that China firmly opposes Israel's escalation of military operations in Gaza, condemns all actions that harm civilians and violate international law, is deeply concerned about the further escalation of tensions, and opposes relevant parties fanning the flames to exacerbate the conflict.
