Chongqing Vocational College of Intelligent Engineering recently conducted an experiential learning activity on national defense for the 2025 cohort, blending classroom theory with hands-on combat drills.

According to the report, the practical drills utilized two robotic dogs, eight drones, and a number of armored vehicles. More than 2,000 students demonstrated combat moves such as hand-to-hand fighting and knife drills, while over 200 students showcased tactical shooting and moving target shooting.

In the comprehensive tactical drills, guided by instructors, the students participated in simulated tactical operations, experiencing the offensive and defensive confrontations under an informationized combat environment, said the report.

Liu Simin, a student majoring in done application technology, shared with reporter that the education activity was incredibly impressive, as the weaponry was no longer just images on a screen, but tangible power that could be deeply felt. "We must strive to learn professional knowledge, contribute to national defense technology, and protect our peaceful lives," she said.
