Local police report an injury case hurting two people at Pangdonglai supermarket

An intentional injury incident occurred at the Pangdonglai Life Plaza in Xuchang city, Central China's Henan Province on Monday afternoon, according to a report from Xuchang Daily.

The source learned from the Weidu district branch of the Xuchang Public Security Bureau that at around 2 pm on Monday, at the entrance hall on the first floor of the Pangdonglai Life Plaza, a local major super market, the suspect surnamed Feng (male, 37) injured a couple, surnamed Wu (male, 41) and Xu (female, 39), following a dispute. 

After the incident, patrol officers and mall security personnel promptly apprehended the suspect Feng and sent the injured to hospital for treatment. Currently, the conditions of the two injured individuals are stable, Xuchang Daily leaned from Xuchang police.

The police stated that the case is under further investigation. The public security authorities will handle the matter strictly in accordance with the law to uphold social fairness and justice, Xuchang Daily reported.

Pangdonglai is a Chinese supermarket chain that was famous online for its display of products, customer service and employment culture. It was once described by Xinhua as sparked a shopping revolution.
