Three Japanese films scheduled to be screened as part of Hong Kong's "Food for Thought - A Cinematic Feast" program, which takes food as its central theme, have been canceled "due to programme adjustments," according to an announcement posted on the official website of the Film Programmes Office under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government.

The canceled titles are Kamome Diner, Tampopo and An, which were originally set to be screened between December 6, 2025 and January 18, 2026. According to the official website, the three films were scheduled for five screenings.

Following the cancelations, the Film Programmes Office has released detailed refund arrangements on its website. Audiences who had purchased tickets are advised to apply for refunds through their original payment channels.

According to the office's website, the "Food for Thought - A Cinematic Feast" program was originally planned to feature 14 films, with An listed separately as a special "free screening" on the final day of the event.
