Asked about Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India and his remarks on China-India relations - according to media reports, Putin said that Russia places great value on its relations with both countries, and it has not right to interfere in China-India bilateral relations, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Monday that China, Russia, and India are all emerging economies and key members of the Global South, and maintaining good relations among the three countries is not only in their own interests, but also conducive to peace, security, stability and prosperity in the region and even the world.

China is willing to work with Russia and India to continue advancing bilateral relations. With regard to China-India relations, China is willing to work with India to view and handle bilateral relations from a strategic and long-term perspective, promote the continuous, sound and stable development of bilateral relations, so as to deliver more benefits to the two countries and peoples, and make due contributions to maintaining peace and prosperity in Asia and the world, Guo said.
