In response to a Reuters question that India has simplified procedures to expedite the processing of business visas for Chinese professionals, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Friday that he has noticed this positive move.

Promoting the facilitation of personnel exchanges is in the common interests of all parties, and China is willing to maintain communication and consultation with India to continuously enhance the facilitation level of exchanges between the two countries, Guo said.

Earlier on Friday, citing two officials, Reuters reported that India has cut red tape to speed business visas for Chinese professionals, in a major step to boost ties between the Asian giants and end chronic delays that cost output worth billions of dollars because of scarce technicians.
