China has announced that South Korean President Lee Jae-myung will pay a state visit to the country. When asked about China's expectations for the visit, Chinse Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian noted that this will be President Lee's first visit to China since taking office.
China and South Korea are important neighbors and cooperation partners. China expects that, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the visit will play a positive role in further advancing the China-South Korea strategic cooperative partnership, said Lin.
