When asked about US president's new threats against the Cuban people and government, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated at Monday's press briefing that China firmly supports Cuba in safeguarding its national sovereignty and security and opposes external interference, urging the US to immediately cease its blockade, sanctions, and any form of coercion against Cuba, and to take more actions conducive to regional peace and stability.
