Regarding the "Board of Peace," the Chinese side has already addressed relevant questions yesterday. As for the UN, China has always practiced true multilateralism. No matter how the international situation changes, China firmly upholds the UN-centered international system, the international order based on international law, and the basic norms of international relations underpinned by the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Wednesday.

Guo made the remarks in response to media inquiries on US President Donald Trump's claim that the UN should continue to exist, but the so-called "Board of Peace" he just announced may replace it, and whether China will join the so-called "Board of Peace."

In response to another inquiry that the US President Trump plans to host a signing ceremony to formalize the "Board of Peace" in Davos, Switzerland on Thursday, whether there will be Chinese representatives attending the event, Guo said regarding the matter of "Board of Peace," the Chinese side has responded yesterday and I have no further information to add.
