The global humanoid robot market experienced a 508-percent year-on-year increase in 2025, with shipments reaching approximately 18,000 units, the Securities Times reported on Friday, citing an industry report by global consultancy IDC.
In its Global Humanoid Robot Market Analysis report published on Friday, IDC said Chinese companies are leading the industry's scaled commercialization.
Chinese humanoid robot maker AGIBOT has shown strong performance, securing the top position globally in five of six application scenarios, including entertainment, scientific research, data acquisition, tour guiding, intelligent manufacturing, and warehousing, IDC said.
AGIBOT ranked first globally by shipment volume, delivering 5,200 units, according to the report.
