When asked to comment on recent statements by the Pakistani military saying that the terrorist organization Balochistan Liberation Army had launched coordinated attacks in Quetta, Gwadar Port and other locations in Balochistan Province, killing 15 security personnel and more than 18 civilians as well as claims by the group that the attacks had resulted in the deaths of 84 Pakistani security personnel, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Tuesday that China strongly condemns the attacks, expresses deep condolences to the victims, and extends sincere sympathies to the injured and the bereaved families. 

Lin stressed that China firmly opposes terrorism in all its forms and will, as always, resolutely support Pakistan in combating terrorism, safeguarding social unity and stability, and protecting the safety of its people.
