Li Chenggang, China international trade representative with the Ministry of Commerce and vice minister of commerce, met the press following economic, trade talks with the US team in Paris.

Li said China and US teams had in-depth, candid, constructive exchanges. The two sides discussed establishing bilateral working mechanism to promote cooperation in trade and investment.

China and US agreed that stable bilateral economic, trade relations are beneficial to both countries and world, he said.

Li said China's position on Section 301 investigations has been consistent and it opposes such unilateral probes.
