Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Thursday that he is not aware of the situation mentioned and suggested referring the question to the relevant Chinese authorities, when asked for confirmation of media report claiming that China has banned two executives from an AI-related company from leaving the country.  

A Financial Times reported on Wednesday that China has restricted two co-founders of Manus from leaving the country as regulators review whether Meta's $2 billion acquisition of the AI agent company violates China's investment rules.
