Fang Xinghai, former member of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the CSRC, is suspected of severe violations of discipline and the law and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Commission of Supervision, according to the website of the CCDI on Friday.
