According to Chinese military sources, on Saturday, the Philippines drew in external countries to stir up trouble in the South China Sea by organizing so-called "joint patrols." The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) kept full-time tracking and surveillance of the relevant parties, and the situation remained well under control.
