China, US are in close talks on reciprocal tariff-cut framework involving $30 billion worth of goods

Chinese and US economic and trade teams are currently maintaining close communication on a framework arrangement for reciprocal tariff reductions covering products worth $30 billion from each side, a spokesperson of China's Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.

Speaking at a weekly news conference in Beijing, He Yadong, the ministry's spokesperson, said further updates will be released in due course.
