Geely enters Australian market

Geely MK has entered Australian market by exporting 100 vehicles to Australian auto dealer John Hughes in Perth.

The MK series include MK, MK 2, Golden Eagle (the sedan version of MK), etc. The total sales volume of the series has exceeded 300,000 units ever since MK was launched in 2006. The models have achieved an annual sales of over 100,000 units in 2009 and 2010 consecutively.

Geely MK boasts of its low noise. Under idling situation, the noise is only 41-43 decibels .

Geely owns an automatic transmission company DSI in Australia and two assembly plants based in Russia and Ukraine.
