Geely's sales, marketing strategies to change dramatically in 2011

Themed "Brand revolution and channel innovation," the 2011 Geely Business Conference was held in Chengdu on February 16. According to the conference, Geely's sales and marketing strategies as well as objectives will dramatically change for 2011.
Geely aims to realize a million sales volume in the domestic market by 2015, to become the world's most competitive automaker.
Zhao Fuquan, vice president of Geely talked about the company's technology strategy at the conference, where he said that Geely has established five technology and 15 product platforms, all of which will ensure 40 new models in the near future and realize Geely's sales target of 2 million vehicles globally by 2015.
Liu Jinliang, sales manager of Geely reported the company sold 400,000 vehicles last year, up 30 percent year-on-year. Geely also accomplished a series of achievements, such as advancing its strategic transformation, establishing a new marketing system, increasing the brand value, so on.
As for the sales and marketing strategy in 2011, Liu said Geely will change its concept from price-orientated to customer-orientated. And the company will expand in other markets, especially those in small counties.
Geely will make great efforts to develop the company's auto financing, insurance and auto parts service, aiming to build a sustainable development system.
